Simply open SubTracker, tap the "+" button to add a new subscription, enter the service name, cost, and renewal date. The app will automatically set up notifications based on your preferences.
How do renewal notifications work?
SubTracker sends push notifications before your subscriptions renew. You can customize when to receive alerts:
- 1 day before renewal
- 3 days before renewal
- 1 week before renewal
- Custom timing of your choice
Can I track different types of subscriptions?
Yes! SubTracker supports all subscription types:
- Monthly subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, etc.)
- Annual subscriptions (iCloud, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Weekly subscriptions (some apps and services)
- Custom billing cycles
- Free trial periods with conversion dates
How do I manage my SubTracker subscription?
For iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > SubTracker
For Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > SubTracker
You can also use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app if you've switched devices.
How does the spending analytics feature work?
SubTracker analyzes your subscription data to provide insights:

Does SubTracker access my bank account or payment methods?
No! SubTracker only tracks information you manually enter. We do not access your bank accounts, credit cards, or payment methods. You have complete control over what data is tracked.
How do I set up different notification preferences for different subscriptions?
You can customize notifications for each subscription individually:
- Tap on any subscription in your list
- Go to "Notification Settings"
- Choose specific timing for that subscription
- Enable or disable notifications entirely for specific services
How do I cancel my SubTracker subscription?
You can cancel anytime through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > SubTracker > Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > SubTracker > Cancel
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I export my subscription data?
Yes! SubTracker Premium allows you to export your subscription list and spending data in CSV format for use in spreadsheets or other financial tracking tools.
Technical Support
The app is not sending notifications
- Check that notifications are enabled in your device settings for SubTracker
- Verify that Do Not Disturb mode isn't blocking notifications
- Ensure the renewal dates are set correctly for your subscriptions
- Check your notification timing preferences in the app
- Restart the app and try setting up a test notification
